In Astrakhan, a Moroccan student brutally attacked his girlfriend on the street after suspecting her of infidelity. The young man attacked the woman, kicking her, punching her and strangling her. The situation quickly became critical: the attacker did not release his grip and his victim lost consciousness from suffocation. Witnesses called the police to the scene. It is only known that the woman suffered a severe concussion, shock from strangulation, and minor injuries to her face and nose. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the foreigner for "petty hooliganism" (for no bodily harm).
