The Ministry of Interior announced the execution of the death penalty by way of retribution against the convicted Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Abdulrahim Al-Jubairi - a Saudi national - after he was convicted of kidnapping a boy, beating him, committing indecent acts with him by force, and consuming alcohol and prohibited pills.

A statement from the ministry said that after the arrest of the aforementioned perpetrator, the investigation resulted in him being charged with committing his crime, and upon his referral to the General Court, a legal document was issued against him confirming what was attributed to him according to Sharia and sentencing him to death by way of discretionary punishment.
