@Malparido69 Not necessarily psychopaths commit school shootings. Usually it is the other way around. Especially at younger age. A psycopath (on a spectrum) starts - or elevates the intensity of - bullying, manipulating classmates, using his/her less-brain-more-muscle "friends" to intimidate others, abuse the victim.

Meanwhile teachers do nothing, because:

1. it became a heavily womanized profession, with many female teachers either hating the children, or having the (usual) bad guy syndrome - Oh little Eduardo is so vivid (yeah busy bullying others), and sometimes he is just soooo vulnerable and sensitive (=little Eduardo has a stepfather, his family does not care about his well-being at all, so out of frustration he makes others to torment that one or two classmate(s) who stick(s) or stand(s) out the most);

2. teaching became the playground of weak liberal lunatics (spreading ideologies like 'the lambs should work together with the untamed beast, we are all equal);

3. out of fear, losing their shitty job (capable of nothing else, to do - frankly not even as a teacher from the very start) /In my school back then, the predominantly female teachers were afraid to scold a dud pupil incapable of behaving (used by a little psycopath as muscle), just because his family name was the same as of a "very important" person's in the city. In reality they were not even related at all. All the time teachers had in their minds which pupil, which student has a father/mother/relative with power, with wealth - and dealt with us accordingly./

Who stick(s) out the most, and gets bullied may differ, depends on the situation and the circumstances. In a class full of nuclear families, and 80-90 percent of the families undorgoing or underwent divorce, it can be the child, whose parents are holding, or just struggling together. When most high schoolers families are considered rich, it can be the classmate who they think is poorer (and kids and also adults trick themselves into believing one can be rich only by flexing with new car (leased, later taken by bank); rich lover, stepfather (sometimes both at the same time, even the same person..); going vacations (meanwhile going bankrupt). It's a pretend society, nurturing greedy little assholes, with psycopathic, narcissistic traits.. The victim can be also physically weaker - not everyone was born at the same time, or fails (to visit) classes and have to repeat the grade.

And then come possible causes like emotional storms of adolescence, mental breakdown, (mis- or untreated) mental illness, drugs. Those add up with effects of media (showing other cases make the later-become shooters example - they feel hurt and their pain unbearable, and get angry), and with availability of weapons at family- or nation levels. Just like suicides go in "pairs" or more, if not handled in a proper way by the community/communities, or people who can make those stop from happening. And school shooters tend to kill themselves.

Video games may be the last on the list that goes on and on and on, speaking of school shooting. So don't be like self-important Tipper Gore who tried to ban (making and) selling music in the US with explicit lyrics and strong language - and then for our eternal amusement, she and her boy-husband got rekt by the looked down musicians; telling through public hearing that: A) maybe just Tipper Gore has a dirty fantasy hearing sexual content into songs where there was none, B) it is the parents' duty to "educate" their children, and while others and society have an impact on them too, it is not others or society who need to be controlled and ruled as fussy politician wives think fit.

Btw the nowadays, sometimes the responsibility of parents comes up at examined recent cases, and it's fair to at least ask questions about the role of shooter's families, social and educational system played in the tragedies (did they treat their (step)kid well, was the 12 gauge shotgun closed from him, did he or she get every help needed), but they almost never talk about the things I've mentioned above. Was the shooter bullied, tormented for year after year, while not a single person supported him?
