Powerlifting champion Alexander Pozhidaev has died in a car crash in Thailand after receiving a hoax phone call claiming his father had died. The 22-year-old was told his father had died and criticized for not attending the funeral. He believed the news and, in a fit of rage, rode his motorbike through Pattaya at night and was involved in a car crash.
