Something VERY similar happened in Sydney a few years back except it was an early
teens girl in shoolies uniform

She had the right of way to cross,
traffic supposed to wait
traffic lights controlling who waits, who crosses - standard at millions of intersectnio around the worl,d etc,
bus driver chose not to wait and drove over her and she was sprayed along the road.

Buses in most of the cities if not all have live cameras in about 8 locations on govt public transporters, with one outside forward facing
4/5 inside looking at the driver and the cabin from different angles - mostly to catch te occasional
crim or spitter, etc

ALL video showing angles relevant to the driver position and what he could see was enough
for him to be gaoled for 15 years for murder.
He saw her and just drove over her.
