(Kangar, 21st) A 74-year-old Chinese woman was riding her motorcycle home after attending a friend's funeral when she was hit by an SUV while crossing the road and dragged into the opposite lane, resulting in her immediate death from her injuries.

The deceased was identified as Feng Yulan (transliteration), a farmer who lived in Taman Muda Asas, Jalan Sin Chew, Perlis. The accident occurred around 7 pm on Monday (20th) in the Jalan Sin Chew area.
