This reminds me of when, two years ago, a Russian soldier shot a wounded Ukrainian in the face. The Ukrainian was wearing a patch of some Ukrainian saint. It also reminds me of the photo of a Russian soldier carrying a rotting corpse, also two years ago. The corpse had a "God Loves Ukraine" patch, from a pro-Ukrainian Christian group. I thought it was some Ukrainian who had received equipment from those Christians, but on the "God Loves Ukraine" website, there were photos of soldiers.
