A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on Flowers Street (شارع الزهور) in Najaf, Iraq, on April 23, 2026, around 4 PM. The driver fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. She was rushed to hospital with a hip injury and underwent emergency surgery. The case has shocked locals due to the reckless speeding common on the street.
