How does that even happen

This reminds me of the accident with a tractor trailer parked on the berm of the Youngman Expressway in the spring of 1975. Some maniac in an Opel Kadett rally car tried to drive around traffic and slammed into the truck at unbelievable speed. The trailer had an old style rear end - without that bumper guard - just like this truck; however, the distance from the rear end to the axle was at least 6’. I saw that car go in perfectly square, all the way past the Rear windshield. What a spectacle.

Needless to say, guy was deee—capitated. That was the 3rd and last fatal accident I ever witnessed.
