A man was shot in the head by a bar patron in Nizhny Novgorod with a flare gun. Two groups of people were relaxing in a bar when a fight broke out. One of the men called the other out to talk, pulled out a flare gun and shot him in the head at close range. He then quickly got into a BMW and fled with his girlfriend. The victim was hospitalized with a serious head injury. The perpetrator was found the next day and a criminal case was opened for attempted murder.
