A day laborer was electrocuted and died while working on the roof of an under-construction building in Bauniabadh B-Block, Pallabi (Mirpur-11), Dhaka, yesterday evening.According to local reports, the incident occurred around 7 PM when the worker came into contact with live electrical wires on the roof of a three-storey building under construction. He suffered severe burns due to the electric shock and was declared dead at the scene.The tragic accident has once again highlighted safety concerns at construction sites in the capital.
