A tragic road accident occurred on Saturday, May 16, 2026, around 11:07 WIB in front of SPBU Losari (Losari gas station), along the Pantura highway in Cirebon Regency, West Java.
A motorcycle carrying a mother, her child (aged 7), and the child’s grandmother was hit by a large white box truck. The motorcycle was dragged approximately 5 meters before the victims were run over by the truck’s wheels. The mother and grandmother died instantly at the scene due to severe injuries. The 7-year-old child survived and was taken to the Losari Community Health Center (Puskesmas) for treatment.
The victims were residents of Desa Randusari, Kecamatan Losari, Kabupaten Brebes. According to local reports, they had just finished registering the child for school at the time of the accident.
This heartbreaking incident has gone viral on local social media, with many expressing condolences for the family. The child is now orphaned after losing both mother and grandmother in the crash. Authorities are still investigating the full circumstances.
