In Kazakhstan, patrons got into a fight with a woman over tea spilled on a sofa. They grabbed her by the hair and beat her in front of other guests. The victim claimed it all started with a demand to pay 14,000 tenge (23,71€) for the allegedly ruined tea spilled on the sofa. However, she claimed the furniture had been damaged long before the incident. During the argument, the men confiscated her phone, claiming it was compensation for the damage.

@Timmy Kazakhstan is not considered a "shithole country" by objective measures, though it faces significant challenges typical of developing nations. It is an upper-middle-income country with a vast, natural-resource-rich economy.

Here’s some stuff:
Kazakhstan is generally considered to have a better economic standing than many other developing nations, with an economy largely driven by oil and mineral resources.
Major cities like Almaty and Astana are modern and developed, though development is sometimes concentrated, leaving other areas less resourced.
The country is often perceived as safe for tourists and has a welcoming population. However, there is significant wealth inequality and a high cost of living in major cities.
The country has historically lacked a robust democracy and faces issues with government accountability, corruption, and restrictions on freedom of speech and assembly.
Contrary to the negative, fictional portrayal in the Borat film (as much as I like Borat), which many locals found offensive, Kazakhstan is a secular, diverse, and modern society with deep-rooted traditions.

While it has problems with bureaucracy and corruption, characterizing it as a "shithole" is not an accurate reflection of the country's development or daily life for most of its people.

Only in fuckistan where the (homo)roids run deep are customers attacked for spilling tea. I'd make sure to burn the place down, by accident of course.
