In a shocking incident in Shah Latif Town, Karachi, a young man named Shahzaib (also referred to as Shahzeb) was shot dead by armed robbers after he tried to resist them.
The incident occurred in a street near Minhaj-ul-Quran Masjid in Sector 17 of Shah Latif Town. According to reports, the armed dacoits were attempting a robbery when Shahzaib approached them to stop the crime. One of the robbers immediately opened fire, killing him on the spot. The suspects then fled from the scene.
The 32- to 35-year-old victim, originally from Shaheed Benazirabad, was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. This latest killing has once again highlighted the growing wave of street crimes and insecurity in Karachi, with citizens expressing serious concern over the unchecked rise in armed robberies.
