Monk Hit by Pickup Truck: Luang Pho Kim Dies.
Ocurred in San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai Province, around 7:00 AM this morning on the San Pa Tong bypass road, opposite the Nam Bo Luang police station, before the Nam Bo Luang intersection traffic light. Luang Pho Kim, a monk from Wat Nam Bo Luang, was violently struck by a pickup truck while crossing the road to return to his temple after completing his alms-gathering duties. He passed away shortly afterward.

If the monk had walked faster and not stopped he would have survived, it looked like the truck tried to avoid him but the idiot stopped dead in his tracks.
