Miss Venezuela Global has released shocking footage of her face covered in blood in a trashed hotel room after claiming to have been attacked by a celebrity stylist in Cannes.

Andrea del Val was staying in the French Riviera city in southern France during the Cannes Film Festival when the alleged altercation with Giovanni Laguna took place.

Video said to have been filmed after the row shows Andrea with blood on her face, with Giovanni sitting on a chair inside the room.

The Venezuelan stylist and fashion designer arrested over the attack is known for his links to Mexican Miss Universe 2025 winner Fatima Bosch, although there is no suggestion she was involved in the incident.

Andrea said in Spanish: 'Look, this is what Giovanni Laguna did. Congratulations, Giovanni, this is what I wanted, for you to show who you were.'

The model then pans the camera around the accommodation to show the room in disarray, with belongings scattered after what reports described as a violent altercation.

Reports in Mexico and Venezuela said the argument quickly escalated from shouting into a physical struggle.

Guests reportedly called police after hearing shouting, blows and what sounded like a disturbance coming from the accommodation.
