On the morning of May 22, at a market in Wushi Town, Luchuan County, Guangxi, a man dressed in black rushed at a traffic police officer and stabbed him with a knife.

Several police officers, armed with shields and batons, fought the man in close combat.

Video footage shows several police officers injured, including a traffic officer who was seriously wounded, covered in blood and collapsed on the roadside. He was subsequently carried onto an electric scooter by bystanders and taken to the hospital for treatment.
