Clearly the elevator was operating normally, seeing as how the doors opened at the end, letting her out. If that were me I would have looked up at the indicator to see what floor we were at, then pressed the button for the ~next~ floor. The door would have opened in seconds. Dumbass flapping her arms around & stabbing random buttons...
