Early Wednesday morning, May 27, a serious traffic accident occurred on the road connecting the village of La Mata with the municipality of Pelaya, in the department of Cesar.
The accident involved a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle, resulting in the immediate deaths of three people due to the severity of the impact.
Traffic police, firefighters, and rescue teams arrived at the scene to attend to the emergency, cordon off the area, and recover the bodies. Traffic was affected.
