Ohio Cop Fatally Shoots Armed Domestic Violence Suspect

“Brian Steel, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Capital City Lodge No. 9, said he believes body camera video of the shooting will show officers arrived to find a man actively shooting a gun and that officers "saw a threat and engaged."

Steel said he was not sure whether the man officers killed was the domestic violence suspect they were looking for.

"Whether he was the suspect or just a person, I don't know," Steel said. "Whether he was in the wrong place [at the] wrong time, whether he was a part of it, who knows?"
