Pakistan: in the parking lot of Allah Wala Biryani Halwa Puri setup located at Khudadad Colony stop, a car lost control and crashed into a frying pan, causing burns to 4 workers who were immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital. 2 workers were badly burned due to hot oil and are in critical condition.

The pain would be so excruciating. Unlike water, which is very thin, and has a max temperature of 100°C at normal atmospheric pressure when boiled, when it gets spilled on the skin, it flows off quickly, spreads out thinly, and evaporates rapidly, limiting how long the hot liquid stays in direct contact with any one spot. Cooking oil on the other hand, which can reach frying temperatures around 180–230°C, is much thicker and more viscous than water. It clings to skin and clothing, spreads more slowly, and tends to form a coating that stays in contact longer, causing significantly more tissue damage.
