Carmen Suárez , an elderly woman, lost her life today after being involved in an alleged traffic incident on Del Reserva street, behind 23rd, in the Villas Agrícolas sector.

A video captured at the scene shows Mrs. Suárez lying on the pavement, with one of her legs in an irregular position, as a result of the strong impact she had suffered.

The images, containing highly sensitive content, caused immediate consternation. Passersby at the scene watched in visible astonishment, unsure how to react.

However, several people approached to try to help her. The woman, conscious but in pain, was screaming as she tried to move on her own across the asphalt.
