Personally, I was struck by photographs from Putin’s army, showing members of the Russian Federation's ethnic minorities humiliating ethnic Russians on a daily basis — beating them, lining them up, and shaving the names of their regions into Russian foreheads: Dagestan, Yakutia, Ingushetia, and so on.

Meanwhile, dictator Putin and his henchmen do not merely tolerate these dehumanizing "traditions" — they cultivate and encourage them.
