Two women were seriously injured after a violent fight involving machetes on Saturday morning (13), in the municipality of Afuá, in the Marajó Archipelago, in Pará.
According to information from the Military Police, the altercation took place in the central area of the city and was allegedly motivated by old disagreements between those involved. During the argument, the two resorted to physical combat and began attacking each other with machete blows.
When the police team arrived at the scene, they found the women with several injuries caused by the bladed weapon. The Municipal Fire Brigade was called and provided first aid, stabilizing the victims, who had injuries to their heads and arms.
After receiving medical attention, the two were taken to the Afuá Civil Police Station, where the appropriate procedures were carried out.
The Civil Police initiated proceedings to investigate the circumstances of the incident and determine responsibility for the confrontation.

If these escapees from the favela had a modicum of strength, they would have learned a harsh lesson about taking only one weapon to a machete fight. One to guard and one to slash.
