Because that's "American" crime from Americans, to be expected, but immigrant crime is special, when in reality it's less prevalent, per capita, than pure, good old 100% American crime, undertaken by good old natural born Americans, who have a right to crime!! If your family member was being care for, and kept alive, by an immigrant worker, working 70 hours a week, doing work Americans just won't do in large numbers, just to live in some shithole apartment next to a freeway. @potterj82 how many 70 year old Indians do you think get let in to the US each year? Unskilled, too old to work, zero language skills, would make him a natural Republican, but he'd need an American born child of his to sponsor him, show they earn enough to keep him, and even then he'd have to pass a medical & a screening. His crime would mean he'd not be approved anyway.
