A terrorist shot two police officers and one civilian before being shot and killed after by the police

One of the police officers and the civilian have died.The female police officer was seriously injured, but she is expected to survive and her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The shooter was an Albertan who allegedly wrote a 100-page manifesto and claimed responsibility for his actions in the name of the incel ideology.

He reportedly called 911 himself, and just seconds after the police arrived, he caught them off guard by advancing toward them and launching the attack.
The shooter was armed with a semi-automatic SKS rifle chambered in 7.62×39mm.
In Canada, this type of incident is extremely rare, and patrol officers are generally not equipped to deal with this kind of threat. The police officer who was killed was 34 years old and had five years of experience on the force.
