Three scavengers were killed in an explosion of an active mortar shell in Kampung Ciparang, RT 04, RW 07, Cipatat Village, Cipatat District, West Bandung Regency, Indonesia. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, when the victims were attempting to open the mortar shell by hitting it with a hammer.
