This is a pretty old video and it's funny to see how Ukrainian activists here are trying to fool folks by twisting the real story.
So those Ukrainian soldiers who were laying down on the ground were a part of the Reconnaissance Assault and Sabotage group (RASG). These ukrops tried secretly approach and capture the Russian trenches but they failed.
What usually such RSG groups do is that they perform search and destroy missions. They hunt, ambush the enemy's positions, vehicles, personnel and then destroy and kill them.
There is almost a zero chance to survive for those RASGs once they fail and being caught.
So in the video these ukrops were interrogated but ukrops gave very vague, unclear answers . The cameraman warned them to shoot if they continue playing stupid which eventually happened.
