The arrest occurred after a report of a fight on the Marshall Islands-flagged ship Horizon Emmanuel, docked at the Santos pier. The suspect argued with the victim before the crime.

A Filipino crew member was arrested on suspicion of killing a fellow countryman aboard a ship docked in the Port of Santos , on the coast of São Paulo. According to information obtained by g1 , Cabello Gallano allegedly argued with the victim, Gamisa Gajudo, before the crime. He was handed over to the Federal Police (PF).

According to the Santos Port Authority (APS), both worked on the tanker ship Horizon Emmanuel, flying the Marshall Islands flag. The vessel has been docked at Barnabé Island since Monday (15).

On Tuesday afternoon (16), a report of a fight on board led a Port Guard team to the location, where agents found the victim already dead. Gallano was arrested in flagrante and the Federal Police carried out an investigation on the vessel to investigate the circumstances of the crime.
