A man suspected of stealing a necklace on the pedestrian overpass in Madureira, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, was caught by the victim himself shortly after the crime. According to images circulating on social media, the suspect engaged in a physical struggle with the man and was subdued before he could escape.

In an attempt to hide the evidence of the crime, the assailant put the stolen necklace in his mouth. The strategy, however, did not work. During the commotion, the object was removed and returned to the victim, while the suspect was assaulted.

Yes you're right, you have to use the elbow or the old trick: a BIC lighter fits perfect in the closed fist but can break anyway that way... ossa metacarpi an' shit
