Shinzo Abe was a Japanese Prime Minister who was shot by Tetsuya Yamagami with a homemade gun (it’s extremely hard or not allowed to have guns in Japan IIRC). Abe was shot due to Tetsuya having a grudge with the Unification Church. He was shot right in the heart (that’ll do a lot of damage)
