A young vendor was seriously injured during an alleged robbery in Los Caracols.
A violent incident recorded on the night of Thursday, July 23, shattered the peace in the Los Caracols neighborhood. According to preliminary reports, an armed man allegedly attempted to commit a robbery on the main road near the neighborhood's popular "las letras" area.
During the incident, a young vendor selling pizzas was shot in the face and rushed to a medical center, where he remains in critical condition. The attack occurred around 8:30 PM, while several people were present at the scene.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine what happened and the perpetrator. They also called on the public to provide any information that could help advance the case.
Residents and vendors in the area expressed their concern about the incident and requested a greater government presence to strengthen security in the area and prevent similar incidents from recurring.
