@Baalin They don't simply grab a man and swallow them alive. They lie in ambush, launch a surprise attack, bite the victim, and simultaneously wrap two or three coils around the chest, squeezing with tremendous force. The victim quickly loses consciousness and dies. Only then does the python begin swallowing the body, slowly, inch by inch.
