The way i know the Goatfckers, those are HTS/Turks, and they just pretend to be Kurds. Also, even if some Kurds kill civilians, overall the kurdish militia SDF saved and protected christians and other minorities from ISIS, while the Islamists of HTS/Turkgay want to kill everyone that isnt a sunni muslim.

@TheThing87 idk bruh. From what I’ve found, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has shifted its public messaging from a hardline jihadist ideology to a more pragmatic, locally-focused, and inclusive stance, with its leadership claiming to protect all minority rights. The claim that they want to kill everyone who isn't a Sunni Muslim does not reflect their current public policy, though their past history and treatment of minorities has been highly controversial.
The Sunni-Islamist group, was formerly an al-Qaeda affiliate known as Jabhat al-Nusra. After breaking ties with al-Qaeda in 2016, HTS began a process of rebranding, moving away from a transnational jihadist agenda to a more local, nationalist Syrian one. This change includes public statements from HTS leader Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammed al-Jolani) promising to protect all Syrian minorities.
In areas HTS controlled previously, such as Idlib, there have been documented instances of discrimination and human rights abuses against non-Sunni groups, including Alawites and Druze. Some reports indicate that members of these communities either converted to Sunni Islam or fled HTS-held territories.
After the fall of the Assad regime in December 2024, HTS established a caretaker government and the leadership has advocated for the inclusion of all components of Syrian society without distinction of language or religion. This shift has reportedly sparked unease among hardliners within or aligned with HTS, who have a stricter vision of an Islamist state.
HTS has tried to implement a legal framework that it claims will protect minorities and has even engaged with Druze communities, indicating a pragmatic approach to governance, even if religious freedom remains a concern for some observers.
while HTS has a history rooted in a hardline ideology that included discriminatory practices, its current leadership is publicly pursuing a more pragmatic and inclusive political strategy, explicitly moving away from a policy of widespread violence against non-Sunni Muslims in an effort to establish a legitimate, stable government in Syria and gain international acceptance.

Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has been engaged in a long-term, calculated effort to rebrand itself, move away from its extremist origins, and gain legitimacy as a governing body in Syria. Following their leading role in the ouster of Bashar al-Assad in late 2024, HTS leader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani has sought to project a more moderate, nationalist image rather than a transnational jihadist one.
HOWEVER, they will have to WORK FOR IT in my opinion, seeing as they’re still designated as a terrorist group by the EU and such. I DO NOT SUPPORT THEM AS OF PRESENT.
